Beekeeping Experience (Apiary Visit)
Come and discover the wonderful world of bees
With us, you can experience beekeeping as closely as it gets. The visit is perfect for schools, companies, families and all kinds of groups who are drawn to nature, the world of bees, and how honey truly makes its way to our tables.

⏱ Visit duration
A traditional visit lasts 1.5–2 hours.
Staying longer is possible by prior arrangement.
🐝 What’s included in the visit?
The visit takes place at our countryside apiary, where we open a hive and explore together how life in a bee colony is organized.

In good weather, we open a real hive and try to spot the queen bee.

On windy or rainy days, we observe the bees through the glass window of an observation hive.

If the timing is right and we are raising queen bees, we also open a mating nucleus hive, where young queens prepare for their first important flight.
Everything is guided by a beekeeper, who shares knowledge, experience, and stories right beside the bees.
🥞 A sweet finish
After opening the hives, visitors are treated to a small sweet snack: pancakes with ice cream and a selection of honey-flavoured toppings.
The menu may vary by season — sometimes we also offer other bite-sized treats where honey plays a key role.
🛍 Take-home products
A small on-site shop is open during the visit, where you can purchase products from our selection to take home.
🛡 Safety
Our bees are generally calm and friendly, but every visitor is provided with a lightweight protective jacket that covers the upper body.
🌙 Want to stay longer?
Longer visits are possible by prior arrangement.
Groups who wish to stay overnight are welcome to camp with their own tents.
Additional options for longer stays include:
